Rachel Piper is a Director of Social Work Training at the Sunfield Center. She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities as well as youth diagnosed with ADHD, behavioral and anxiety disorders. In addition to providing individual treatment to help her patients develop better organizational skills, coping skills to handle emotions, and social skills to help with forming and maintaining relationships, Rachel is also a certified Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist and trainer. In addition to seeing patients at Sunfield Center, Rachel heads the PCIT training program at the Sunfield Institute along with Dr. Naguib. In that capacity, Rachel provides weekly training and supervision to clinicians working towards becoming certified in PCIT. Rachel earned her Master’s of Social Work degree in 2018 from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, as well as her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2017.
