Sydney earned her master of social work degree in 2015 and her Ph.D. in School Psychology in 2023 from Michigan State University. At the Sunfield Institute, Sydney contributes towards training development and implementation focusing on parenting, utilizing evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions, and supporting children and their families across multiple systems of care.
In addition to her work at the institute, Sydney is completing her postdoctoral fellowship at the Sunfield Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sydney enjoys working with children and adolescents with diverse neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders and their families. She worked as a school social worker supporting children with disabilities and their families affected by the Flint Water Crisis.
